Vacancy Details:

A total of 39,481(Tentative) Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Riflemen (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoys.

Education Qualifications:

Candidates must have completed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University on or before the cut-off date, which is 01-01-2025.

Age Details:

SSC GD (Staff Selection Commission General Duty) Constable exam, the age requirements are generally as follows:

  1. Minimum Age: 18 years
  2. Maximum Age: 23 years

However, age relaxations are provided for candidates from specific categories. The common relaxations are:

  • Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST): 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per the length of service in the Armed Forces plus an additional 3 years (maximum age limit not exceeding 45 years)
  • Children and dependents of victims of the 2002 Gujarat riots: 5 years
  • Widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands: 5 years (for women candidates)

Salary Details:

Basic Pay: ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month (Level 3 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission).

Gross Salary:

The gross salary, including allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and other allowances, can range from ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on the posting location and other factors.
